Tonight I have had a meeting with some people from LoveNepal. I don't think I have mentioned here on the blog about the changes that has happened in the project lately:
- the song is going to be recorded again in a "real" studio in Gothenburg in a couple of weeks. Wow!
- I will, together with LoveNepal, make a music video from the song, to get the message out there effectively.
These are the main changes and expansions that have been made lately to the project. I am so excited about all of this! However, it obviously puts some extra pressure on me; I will have to be extremely focused and motivated to make this happen. Because it all depends on me; at least when it comes to the song. Since the studio is professional, I will have to come up with a "serious" arrangement for the song that we can work after during the studio session (which probably will be on 17-18th of November). It all has to be completely planned and thought through many times.
However, on the meeting tonight we mostly discussed ideas and visions that we had about the music video. They were all very motivated - which made me even more motivated! They challenged me to think outside the box, to think bigger than I had dared to before. It is so much fun and developing to work with professionals in certain areas; I almost feel like I learn a lot just by being near them. However, we decided to keep in touch, and they will even come with me to the studio session to record it! The aim with this is to do a kind of "behind the scenes"-movie; to record some scenes that also can be used in the music video.
I do feel that I have really good support, both from LoveNepal and from the studio, and due to that I think this will be really good! Since I do not have huge amount of time, I will have to be really focused; I think that will be the greatest challenge right now. But I am able to do it. With a little (a lot of) help. And I am really thankful.
